today we went to church and i spent most of the time chasing around a bear with a little cold... after church there was an all-church bbq in the parking lot- fun stuff.
we headed home so bear could nap then we met up with grandma mia and grandpa dean for a fireworks show at Bonita HS....
there was lots of people, food and live entertainment...
there was a mini-pre-fireworks show, but bear wasnt too sure about the loud noises...

oh ya there wre firetrucks too... and they gave out firehats!
bear met a friend named Jar-bear! bear shared a hat and a glow stick with him and Jar-bear shared a ball with bear...
this was bears FIRST fireworks show. he had to get used to the loud boom or "poow-poows" as he called them. he was covering his own ears earlier and for the big show mama had to cover bears ears and he kept that sippy cup is his mouth as "comfort!"

Bear makes such funny, cute faces!! like i said on FB...i love the one of him covering his ears!
ps i have yet to try "potty trg" again after my disaster trial..BUT lo and behold, out of nowhere, Jacob has been asking to use the potty! he usually goes 1-2x a day. still refusing the undies though :(
