first day of preschool!!!

Ive been hyping bear up about his first day of preschool so he's been ready to go!

He's enrolled at Sonrise Christian Preschool in San Dimas tues/thurs mornings.

Thank goodness that papa's benefits can cover those 2 days while mama works. And the other days he'll hang out with grandma sally and auntie rossy.

yes- back to work for me- every morning aiding and working in the success program and a little bit of subbing again =)

these animals are in the front lobby and bear hopped right on top with his lion!

we got in the morning class and i asked him to smile and say cheese and this is what he gave me:
Bear had a great first day said his teachers- Ms. Erica and i totally forgot the other gals name. He was very playful and happy and energetic and curious.
Although, he didnt eat much of his lunch and he did have one potty accident.
And he did come home with sand in his hair! hee hee

cowboy

i think bear thinks a cow-boy is a little boy who is a cow. he was on my back for a pony ride and papa said, "you're a cowboy!" and bear said, "im a cow! moo moo!"

a family that skates together... just plays together!

i love when we get to go out and do fun little things as a family... like our lil family walks, sporting times-like soccer, running and tennis and most especially beach/surf times and skate times!

last night after dinner we got bear his own little tennis racket since he doesnt like sharing ours and we played a little at the hs tennis courts and then threw around the frisbee

and today

we went skating!!!!

we all had our own skates although we dont have any pictures of all three of us on our own.

but preferred the bigger skateboards-papas to be exact...
after one ride around we stopped at the slides for a bit...

then back to skating.

papa helped bear and pushed him along...

he loved it...

he loved it even more going by himself with noone behind him...

after a couple more times around the park we headed home!

yay for good skate days.

wish someone wouldve told us about this fun little treasure before...
the city of claremont has a couple of kiddie wadding pools right in the middle of the park! it's get filled and empty each day and is only open for a couple hours.... soo much fun!
we met lauren and little gracie there...
its pretty big and barely reaches a foot deep in the center.

cant wait to go again next week when, hopefully, the girls are all better!

national nite out

tonight was National Nite Out in La Verne (the city that grandma mia works for)... so they picked up bear and took him to goet fingerprinted(pic below) and to play some carnival games and have some snow cones, etc...

annnnnnnd they also got him a Thomas the Train backpack- which auntie jessie said he was SUPER excited about!!!
he had a great time with them! and even before that-- mama and bear went to visit a preschool in the morning- Sonrise Christian Preschool in San Dimas.
since mama will be working every morning this school year we are considering putting bear in preschool two days a week especially since papa's work benefits will be able to take care of it!
then
we went to the beach with nicole and baby hannie!
fun-filled busy day! yay!

papa wanted to work out so we headed to the track. bear wanted to do what papa was doing so he ran the whole first lap with papa! then even after papa took off bear was yelling for him and kept looking out for him and kept trying to run after him!

papa did pull ups so bear had to do some too!
bear loves to work out with his papa =)
