soooo i a few days ago i fell. yup. not too bad though. baby is okay. i was "running" in the morning. Now mind you- since Ive gotten a little bit bigger my runs have turned into slow jogs and walks. So i have definitely toned my "runs" down a ton! Anyhow, I was "running" a few days ago and i jogged over the same railroad tracks I usually cross over, but this time I felt myself lose my balance and I started to feel myself fall forward. I couldnt catch myself and I kept thinking as I was falling that I couldnt catch myself. so i stumbled and hit the dirt and rocks with my hands and knees. my knees took the biggest part of the fall. There were cars around and some people so I was totally embarased! So i got up real quick and called tony and started to cry as I told him that I just fell and that he had to come get me. And then I quickly sped walk to get around the corner and I sat on the curb to see if my knees were ok..... they weren't.... they were bleeding and my right knee was totally scraped- to the point where you saw the white meat! oy! I felt sick looking at it and cried some more and then tony finally pulled up. He was sad that I was sad. We got home and I hopped in the tub to wash it off with soap and then Tony cleaned it up with some peroxide as i was all squimish and grossed out! Then I called the doctors office to see if I should come in. The nurse asked if I had certain signs and symptoms and luckily I didn't and she said baby should be okay! poor me and my knees! but thank goodness i didnt fall on my belly and that baby is okay!

first picture
On Friday, January 4th, we had our very first ultra sound! The technician couldn't tell what the sex of the baby was though. She said the baby kept moving it's legs so she wasn't sure- but she did say at first that it was a girl, then later 70% it's a boy, and then 80% it's a boy! So.... we'll have to get another one done!

my little niece loves the little baby inside my belly. She always says "baby cousin." Yesterday and today she said "baby cousin" " i love it" and then she prayed really quick for baby "dear lord bless baby cousin, in Jesus name amen." she's soooo cute!

Christmas Weekend
The Christmas holidays were quite eventful. We spent the early part of the evening at Tony's family party then we headed off to my family party for the traditional midnight gift giving event. On Christmas Day we had our traditional Christmas morning breakfast at Tony's parents along with a gift exchange. We also took their family dogs on an after breakfast Christmas stroll to Puddingstone. His parents always seem to bless us beyond what we need! We are so thankful for them. Among all the clothes and stuff they gave us an early present which was bedroom furniture- nightstands and a dresser by Ikea!
I had to take this shot. Baby Katelynn LOVES Shadow and was chasing him all around the place. She also kept on hugging him! If you look closely you can see that Shadow's tail is wagging at her face!
Our first baby gift from Papa & Grandma!- Winnie the Pooh jammies!
My first pair of maternity pants. I believe they were the smallest size, but unfortunately they were still way too big!
One of Tony's presents- a Quiksilver sweatshirt-his FAVORITE brand.
On our Christmas walk with the dogs.
We made it to Puddingstone! But we actually overshot our walk and ended up too far, missing the street that cuts back to his parents house. We eneded up calling his dad to come get us!
Tony with Cricket ( who absolutely adores him) and Shadow (his other brother).
Merry Christmas 2007!

my secret presents
Sunday sunshine!
Tony and I both need to work on taking picutres and capturing memories and moments! i'm finally done with all the Christmas shopping! We finished yesterday! and currently Tony is in the living room wrapping up a secret present for me! hee hee! Friday was the last day of school and I don't return until the 2nd!!- A much needed break!- esp with the the emotions and moods of pregnancy! I definitely need prayer regarding that. Today was also our Christmas service at church so sadly that means we arent having the traditional Christmas Eve service, but nonetheless it will be an eventful next two days! Today was a beautiful day so after church today Tony and I went to Sunset to eat at Taco Surf for lunch, we strolled through some shops on Main Street in HB and walked along the jetties in Newport looking at the sea life in the rocks. I wish I would've taken some pictures!!!! ok- note to self- take pictures at all the family stuff in the next two days!

a busy weekend!
This weekend was pretty busy. To start off- Friday we sadly missed out on my works Progrssive Dinner but we were able to get more Christmas shopping done! whew!
On Saturday I helped Rossy with her craft fair in La Habra all morning. It was cold as we all set up and sat outside. There were lots of fun little boutiques and crafts. It's too bad there wasn't much foot traffic though.
Then later on that evening Tony went with me and my band to the Riverside Juvenile Hall. My band- Project Worship- played for a Day 7 Harvest church outreach to the youth there. It was interesting. The stage was all set up for a a show/concert- with back drops, tv screens and their whole sound system and it was all for us! We were the only band playing that night for the kids. The kids came in and sat in their designate sections. There was a group of guys that had on light grey, a group of girls with pink and then the last group- they had on yellow and were shackled at the ankles and some at the wrists. Sadly, those guys are in for life. Once they get old enough they will transfer out to state prison. Anyhow, when the Day 7 crew comes out they lke to bring in a treat for the kids. That night they brought Krispy Kreme Donuts and milk! We played some of our songs and covered some Christan bands. We did alright for being out of practice! Then the Day 7 crew did a Q&A where many of the kids asked questions about right and wrond decisions and about their faith. My heart went out to them. Many of them had dedicated their lives many times to the Lord, but the don't "feel" it or see the change..... i wished we had more time to really minister to them, answer their questions and pray with them. Afterwards, another guys gave a short message and we were done. We were able to hlep pass out Bibles and shake their hands as they left..... What an experience...
The evening ended with us heading over to Daniel and Steph's Christmas party. We made it just in time for the White Elephant gift exchange! Tony and I ened up taking home a Shrek Chia Pet and Donald Trump cologne!
Sunday- church and more Christmas shopping! and now a new work week! One more week till we celebrate Jesus' birth!
