lions and tigers and bears...oh my!

some of the bears favorites toys right now are the big stuffed animals...

he LOVES this fluffy lion. this morning after he nursed he wanted to get off the couch really quickly and he headed straight for the lion that was sitting atop his toy box. he pulled him off, put him on the ground and laid his his on him to give him hugs and kisses...

here's the bear with the infamoous 3-lion, tiger and bear...
he had his 12 month check up last week.
he is not gaining much weight- only 18lbs 10oz but he's 29 1/2 in long!
a skinny bear! =P
the dr also gave the ok to start introducing cows milk. i've offered it in a sippy cup and i put it in his oatmeal. he likes it in the oatmeal but not so much the sippy cup- he ends up getting a little red around the mouth too- i hope he's not allergic!

so thus begins my weaning process too. they say when he's ready he'll start weaning himself... and he has =( he has already given up his mid-morning feeding...oy!
he's also had a little cold and has been wheezing so the dr gave him some liquid albuterol- and hopefully it's not asthma! pray! and because he's sick he didnt get his 12 mo shots- have to come back next week to get those done! oy!
