i guess i really should get the things the bear says on video but i bet the second i turn on the video that he won't talk! just like when i try to be sneaky and take a pix of something cute he's doing- he automatically stops the cute act and tries to reach for the camera..
anyhow he has been saying quite a few words as i mentioned in a previous blog... lately he's been saying "bible"= "bi-buh", "book"= "bu--k", and the other day i told him not to touch the rug because it was "dirty" and i swear he said it! it sounded like "duh -ty". i think it's cute that he tries hard to say the words i say and "talk" to me. it even seems likes he's arguin his cause with us when we tell him not to do something... oh ya and he says "peek-a-boo"= "a-boo" sooo cute!
lately papa and i have been sooo in love with the bear. it's funny. we both get like dreamy-eyed about him when we talk about him to each other... and just randomly blurt out " i love the bear." i know- we're silly but we cant help how much we love him... i mean, it's so hard to believe that we could love someone soooo much, ya know? makes me think of how our love for the bear is like jesus' love for us...
i guess thats it for now... oh wait...
oh ya- the bear has been sick for a few days now. a couple of days of just sneezing and the last 3 days he's had a fever, and now today i'm taking him in to the dr just incase he has an infection and needs antibiotics!
oh ya- and the bears first bday is coming up in a little over 3 weeks! yay for auntie & uncle for hosting his birthday at their house! thanks again!
oh and bear is supposedly a babywise baby- i mean i say supposedly only because he's not the picture perfect role model for it but he has been disciplined into a schedule ever since i could remember- with regular feedings and sleep times and because of the "schedule" he has been able to sleep through the night ever since he hit the 2 month mark. anyhow with the babywise baby they are supposed to learn to sleep on their own once you put them down in their crib awake... i have been guilty of not doing this for soooo long and i since i'm home with him now i finally decided he needs to learn... so for naps and some bed times- i put him down awake, give hugs & kisses, pat his belly, say a prayer, tell him it's night night time and that he's ok and i leave him... i close the door and walk away.. and guess what?? after only bits of crying here and there--- it works! =) yaaaay!
im super excited about that because i'm gonna have to start weaning him soon so his night time bedtime he definitely needs to be able to fall asleep with out the last milk feeding!
oh and another thing-- he's been throwing things lately... a ball, a toy, a car.. anything.. he throws it and chases it, and throws it and chases it alllll over the house! and believe me- i tried getting that on video, but of course he stopps and comes out reaching for the camera!
summer's comin up and with that- swimming.. i wanna register for the city mommy and me swim classes.. gotta start him early!
