the 9 months with the Lukey Bear...

i've mentioned a few blogs ago that Lukey bear is growing so much... and he is! i loved the 6 month stage, but i must say- i love this 8-9 month stage even more cuz he's learning to be even more independent and even more adventurous and curious of his surroundings.

he crawls EVERYWHERE. if you call him he'll come to you. if you crawl on the ground and call him he'll play follow-the-leader and sometimes he even leads.

he pulls himself up to a standing position and sometimes he even stands on his own without holding for a few seconds. the other day he wanted to clap and he let go of the coffe table and clapped while standing without holding on to anything.

and he loves to clap. he claps when you sing, when he sings, when he's happy, while he's playing, and even when he gets up from a nap- he starts clapping!

he also very good at doing that little pincer grab- with his forefinger and thumb. i love watching him pick up the cheerios one by one and put it in his mouth.

he loves loves the non-toys like tupperware, the vertical blinds,the door stopper, the remote and the phone, etc. the last two he's not allowed to play with cuz there bigboy toys. lately he's been experimenting with the door- opening it and closing it. and he cried when he closed it and he was in his room by himself and mama was on the other side. he's also learning to open drawers. oy!

he loves to bangs on things like a drum.

he loves to play the guitar by himself or with mama or papa and he absolutely loves when you play him a song- he starts to bounce/jump, sing and clap his hands.

he loves to give open mouth kisses- i guess he still has to learn to pucker up and keep them lips together. he also like to blow raspberries- on your belly if you let him!

he loves when you read to him but these are his favorite books like Brown Bear, his tiny bear Bible, his story bible or his "God Knows All About Me" book.

he loves his cheerios and puffs, but lately his been picky about his foods- not so much liking the green bean with rice as much as he used to. he eats some plain mashed potatoes, mac n cheese and spaghetti- stage 3 baby food still. he goes to the dr tomorrow so we'll see what advice she has for his meals!

the other day he crawled under his exersaucer and couldnt get out and he cried!

he loves riding on the pony!

he also loves to play ball. he'lll roll it back to you or he'll chase it around the room. he also chase any other toy around the room.

he loves to push his little toy shopping cart around- it kinda acts like his little walker.

he FINALLY has his first tooth coming in! you can feel the tops of it on his gums. i guess that's part of the reason why he's being waking up in the middle of the night- he's in pain!

being home has been great so far! keeping busy with auntie and the little cousins, Mops and Moms Club, storytimes, and just playing at home or at the park!
