since my last blog...

gees it's been so long since ive blogged anything... let me catch you up..... since the Gomberg wedding on the 21st......
1. we finished our child birth classes with Lorie David. I liked her and her class. She was very good and informative and organized and brief and to the point. I would totally recommend her classes: http://www.learntolabor.com/
2. we finished the last marriage class at church that Friday.
3. that last sunday in April was my last Sunday with the band- Project Worship- We played again at the 777 Church in San Bernardino. I thought it might be my last, but I wasnt sure only because i wasn't sure when I would begin my maternity leave from the band. since we got new members in the band that was probably one of the only times we were ALL there together to play so I was totally excited and blessed! I have officially started my "band maternity leave."
4. our girls bible study has been going real strong. I am soo blessed by that group! it has been such an answer to prayer for us all- for the fellowship and the friendships. We have been going strong with "A Woman After God's Own Heart," even though we have our little disagreements about the authors...
5. I had my first pelvic exam.... ummm, ya... quite awkward, but I am just under a centimeter dialated. I am down to a doctors visit EVERY week- afterall, I am in my 37th week already!
6. oh ya-- My mother-in-law threw me a baby shower on the 3rd! I need to post pictures!!!-lots of awesome gifts!
7. i've been cleaning and trying to get stuff prepped for baby Luke. bedding has been washed and some clothes, baby's bag is packed, but mine is not completely done. the crib and the changing table are NOT yet built..... oy- Luke's dada and grandpa need to build his furniture! (i'm hoping it gets done this weekend?!) hee hee! oh ya and the stroller has been put together- thanks grandpa! and the car seat has been installed- thanks dada! Despite all my worries and anxieties about getting things for the baby-- God has been so faithful... He continues to amaze both Tony and I with all the provisions- the gifts, the blessings.... why is it i still worry!?
8. since i work at a school, tons of kids are always rubbing my belly... especially lately. lots of little kindergarters rub my belly, give it hugs and put their ears on my belly to hear baby Luke-- it's so cute! I also get lots of comments from the little kids about my belly getting so BIG!
9. I have also noticed how much more affectionate tony is to Baby Luke in my belly... it's soo cute! it totally melts my heart every time he talks to the baby and rubs it and when he puts his hand on my belly to play with Baby Luke and feel him over around and kick...... awhhhh!
10. tonight was the hospital tour. can i just say that i really don't like hospitals?! the smell, the looks of it, the germs... everything! ahh! i dont like hospitals! ewwww! oh and yay- we are pre-registered!
11. oh ya- our lease is up in July and we would like to move.... so keep us in prayer- we would like a 2bd, that's more affordable than our "luxury" 1bd! =) oh and I don't have to go back to work until about the 2nd week or so in August! so yes- more time with baby Luke!
12. oh ya- and somewhere in that span of time-- my sister got preggers again and they are expecting another little munchkin in December! another little cousin for baby Luke!
