watermelons & cherries

first off - i do have to say that i have been a VERY VERY bad blogger..... sorry!

Anyhow, so my belly has definitely been increasing in size. The other day my friends kindergarten class was waiting in line to be picked up after lunch so i went over and started talking with them. I had a long, fitting black t-shirt on and the little kids were telling me that my baby and my belly was big. And I agreed and pointed to the basketball and said it was as big as it. They kept commenting on my belly's size and were even rubbing it. They also keep asking if it is a boy or girl. As they were all making their comments, one little boy pointed to my belly and said, "that's a watermelon." Then, he pointed at my boobs and said, "those are cherries!"
I about DIED!!!! My jaw dropped and my eyes were wide-eyed! I was so shcoked he said that and at the same time it was sooooo funny! I walked away and then told my co-workers, some other teachers and finally his teacher. They were all stunned and thought it was so funny!

Then today after lunch the same kindergarten class was walking into class and i was walkig alongside them... and lo and behold that same little boy says, "i see your cherries!" Again, i about died at his outburst!

he definitely had to learn those terms at home! man, kids definitely say the darndest things!
