bear and hannie were playing outside together after church.  they were playing with rocks and were throwing them and then bear handed hannah a rock - to which her own dad says, "someday it'll be a real rock!" hee hee! shall we say, "betrothed?"

and the early celebrations begin!

well Nov has come and that means bday shenanigans. I'm not usually the one who likes to celebrate my birthday cuz bday blues tend to happen, but i must say- this night out was FUN!  Maria and Amanda are Nov bdays too so we all went out together alont with my sis and Nicole to celebrate! We headed to Birch Street in Brea for some dinner at Cha Cha's for some latin food and some live music! It was fun and the band was quite entertaining AND our meal was paid for by surprise by some of the hubbies!

 we made it nicoles birthday too AND she even sang a stevie wonder song with one of the servers at Farrells! Farrells Icecream Parlour was a BLAST!! so fun!

more of October busyness...

so much to October.... so here's some snapshots of this month so far.... REAGAN turned TWO!!!! praise God for this little blessing and another year into her life!

 good friends of ours- the Knicks- had their littlest one dedicated at their old church ccch!

bear and peyton, aka- best friends and best cousins, got flu shots together at their peeds office ;)

 went to Disneyland!!! and finally got to go to CarsLand!!! bear was SO SUPER excited! more pix to come!

October has already been super busy! we celebrated my dad's birthday at Buca with the fam!

bear made grandpa a card and he wrot it himself and drew the pic!

 bear's auntie jessie got engaged to matthew!

 

 the tres marias! lol! we've been blessed practicing together and leading worship together for tues nite womens study! we're also working had to get nicole on board with keys and my sis on board with the bass!

  this is our thurday nite community group!! love them! it was potluck last thurs!

 Peyton drew a picture of her family of 5 PLUS 1= which included her brother BEAR!!! so cute!

2nd annual Biola 5k

Last year we had the awesome opportunity to run for HoPE in honor of Reagan's 1st birthday and the families for HoPE at Biola University's Alumni weekend!  This year we were honored to attend and support the 2nd annual run.  This year's cause was focused on another cause for social jutice, etc.

Here is a pic of the Martinez fam up on the stage with Don and Jackie who helped put this even together!  Thanks guys!

Taylor and her dance team were given the opportunity to perform today, too! Go Tay!

 This year they had booths set-up and one booth had Amy Atkinson in it for pix and autographs!  She is a Biola alum who competed in this year's Olympics in London for the nation of Guam!

tony's dad gave us some awesome tickets to the Dodger game today! They watched Bear and we got to take the Knicks with us! It was a hot day, but thankfully our seats were in the shade! and they were pretty good seats! we had a great time and yay for the Dodgers winning with 3 HR!

 our friend, brad and his family are now missionaries in the jungles of the amazon, brazil. he has been in town and is visiting churches, family to share about what is going on currently with their ministry.  anyhow, we headed to the beach with him... just like old times! yay! plus it was also triple digit heat inland!

bat bear and aubree's bday

 bear came outta his room with his batman mask on and was attempting to put the other one on lion, but he had a tough time so i helped! ;)

 our little friend, Aubree, turned 5 and we were able to celebrate with her at Pump It Up! she's adorable- on the bottom left as Pippy Longstocking! and look at the pic of the bestie-cousins (on the bottom middle!) so cute!
