first trip to the d e n t i s t!

 bear was such a trooper! he did GREAT at his very first dental visit! we didnt even take him to a kiddie dentist.   Tony and I both went to a new dentist that also sees children.  Bear did well. He loved it and asked tons of questions and the ladies there loved him and were very nice and gentle with him... and his lion!  here he is in the dental x-ray chair.  he did good for them and let them take his xrays and lions too!

 they did xrays and took pix of his mouth/teeth and his LION! and they printed it for him!

 did great getting his teeth cleaned.  he even let "mr. thirsty" suck up the water in his mouth!  bear ws very vocal and asked tons of questions!

bear can add numbers!

 several times throughout the day bear has been counting and adding up numbers using his fingers! woo hoo!

jammin with mama

   I was practicing and instead of bear grabbing a guitar to jam with mama, he grabbed his ukulele and we jammed together! then when i moved over to the piano, he took over too! ;)

swim class

 thanks to gma and gpa for his swim lessons again this summer! there were only 5 in his class! yay for small classes and great teachers!

 this was their last day "fun friday" of their 2week daily swim class... they got to go on  a pirate ship ride and hunt for treasure at treause island on the other side of the pool!

 yay now bear is ready for Level 1! he had a great time this summer and he is super ready for "real" swimming. he did lots of underwater swimming on his own lol ;)

 there are rarely any photos of me cuz i'm usually the ones taking the pix, but Tony got some of me today hee hee!

 it really was a nice day and didnt really need a full wetsuit- especially since i wasnt going out long nor paddling out into the main line-up! ha!

  we love newport! bear and papa got in the water today but mama was a bit cold! bear was being brave and put on the "blueberry" suit so that he could "surf." and he was actually facing the right way and trying to ride lil waves! go bear!

 while papa did more surfing bear was cracking me up!!! he wanted to practing swimming- so he would get in the water and practicing paddling, kicking, putting his face in and even tried floating on his back several times! its was too cute and too funny!

 

 he's ready for his swim classes this coming week! he's crazy! he definitley needs to learn to swim and needs to learn water safety! ;)

circus!

  i won 4 passes to the Ringling Bros Circus on the Fish Radio station, but with the limited dates I couldnt go because of work so i had asked gma mia and gpa dean if they wanted to take bear! and they gladly did!  they sure worked their charm because these free tix were supposed to be nose-bleed seats BUT they somehow got seats in the FIFTH ROW!!!
