baby Knick #2

the knicks are expecting baby #2... will it be another girl or a boy!?
i guessed a girl. bear guessed and boy and so did papa.
the parents....

annnnnnd.... it's a girl! we all bit into our cupcakes at the same time and the color of the filling revealed the baby's gender- PINK= GIRL!

sooo it's been quite a busy summer! papa's been workin hard and so has mama! Ive been tutoring some kids at my school and have also been helping out with our schools summer camp and subbing 2-3 days a week on their big trips especially. bear's been hanging out lots with cousins and friends. we've had playdates galore and several beach playdates too! it's been fun! We are thankful for His blessings!
Reagans been ok..... all the planning for the 5K run/walk at Biola's Alumni weekend in October has been good. Things just seem to be falling into place! https://www.facebook.com/#!/event.php?eid=187979864595611 come join us!
today though she did have a long seizure and seemed to just be out of it... which led rossy to call 911 and take an ambulance ride to the ER... praise God she's ok now. Sadly, it just is a part of her condition- HoPE. please keep her in your prayers.
cousins and bear are great! they love love love playing together and bear ALWAYS wants to go to aunties house =)
bear still eats the SAME foods. getting him to try new ones is tough!- even with a bribe! =/
he issuper playful. talks tons. sings tons. makes up his own songs. does silly and cute little prayer songs. his favorite worship song was "our god is greater" and now it's "fire fall down".. hope someday he'll really fall in love with worship and be used in that way =)
as far as school goes- we did get granted a discount for him to go to our school's preschool, but i think we may wait till Jan for him to start (so that papa's benefits kick in!).
I'll be starting regular work soon too- at the end of the month- I get to work with the 3rd grade class this year and aide most of the day in there! yay!
and this year ive been slowly back in school.- aiming for 1 class a semester to get certified as a SLPA- speech language pathology assistant.... no rush... just something for down the road.... =)
cant believe the summer is coming to a close soon........

last swim lesson!

bears been taking swim lessons for the last two weeks. He's been in the water tots class. There were about 4-5 kids a day. the blonde boy standing next to bear hardly ever went in the water. and poor bear had to sit/stand and just watch the other kids on his last day cuz we both caught colds.
they were having so much fun and it was so sad cuz bear wanted in!

BUT he DID get his swim certificate! he's not quite ready for Level 1 so they recommend another water tots session. that's miss kimm. his other teacher was mr. craig and miss sierra =)

good job b e a r!!! you'll be swimming and surfing soon!

salt creek and cousin kyles grad party!

we had a busy day! we first headed to the s a l t c r e e k with jino's dad's church for their church picnic! we enjoyed some yummy bbq and surf and beach! but the pix are outta order....
then we drove straight to tony's cousin kyle's grad party! they had a taco man and snow cones! i think this is bear f i r s t snowcone! and he loved it!

swimmin bear!

bear has been in swim all last week and it will continue into next week thanks to grandma mia and grandpa dean! he's in the w a t e r t o t s class! there's only 4 of them. well, there is another kid but he refuses to go in but will sometimes sit on the top step! he has g r e a t teachers- miss sierra and mr craig! at first he did not like it BUT he is L O V I N it now! they sing fun songs and do little activities in the water!

we got bear a BIKE for his birthday in May and he LOVED it! he was SO excited!

mama's day

it has taken me several days to try and post this blog. it wouldnt save or publish but praise God it worked tonight!
Mama's Day weekend was fun. went to the beach with some friends and fam, church, lunch with the in-laws, dinner for my mom...
