bear turns 3!

oy totally forgot and i uploaded the pix in the wrong order! sorry. plus my blogger/comp has NOT been cooperating and it has been a super sloooow process uploading pix and then the post not being able to publish =(

but nonetheless bear turned THREE!
here's bear opening some awesome gifts!

we had a great time with some close friends and family at the mini-park in grandma and grandpas community...

and since we used a real bat... papa thought bear should wear his helmet =/ even though none of the other kids had to wear it...

bear loved this little power car that one of his little friends brought to share....

some play time...

simple food- pizza, fried chix, chips, pasta salad, pancit, egg rolls! and lots of treats...

oh and look at the train banner i made...

bear loved his thomas & friends mini-cakes and cupcakes, cakepops, etc...

mama's day

it has taken me several days to try and post this blog. it wouldnt save or publish but praise God it worked tonight!
Mama's Day weekend was fun. went to the beach with some friends and fam, church, lunch with the in-laws, dinner for my mom...
here's who i get to be mama to:
sis, me and our mama!

at uncle tim's thai restaurant (minus our sis-in-law chris!)

spent saturday at the beach with the martinez', the knicks and the luna's....

my silly bear- this bucket was filled with sand and water and he decided to sit in it!

bear really wanted to surf with papa and uncle jino. he kept calling out to them saying "wait for me!" as he was trying to push his lilttle body board toward the water!

yay for mama's and for momma's days.....

yes, he has long hair and is due for a cut

but he's also wearing a cute lil quiksilver button down shirt- he loves wearing quiksilver because he knows it's his papa's favorite brand!

a little pantera adventure!

today we had a little late afternoon adventure to pantera park.

first we skated, played on the play ground, played a little tennis and

went hiking up the trail!

easter fieldtrip!

since my school is on spring break this week I was able to go with bear on one of his school fieldtrips! it's his first one too with his preschool since we're not too comfy with him riding in "strangers" cars to go on little trips!

annnd so being that Easter is around the corner-the fieldtrip was a little Easter picnic and egghunt at the park!

all the kids were playing while waiting for all the cars to arrive...

they all had to put their toesies at the edge of the grass before the start...

bear with some of the kids... it was his class and i think 2 others on this trip...

and they're off!

i couldn't believe how picky bear was! he kept passing over the "regular" eggs and he was hunting for the cute sports ball eggs!

they were allowed to collect 14 each! he had only gotten 9 cuz he was being picky... BUT then the teachers counted all the kids eggs and many had more than 14 so they made it even and fair and that's why bear has "regular" ones in his bag!

yay! so glad we were able to join in the fun!

Grandparents Day at Bears school!

Today was Grandparents Day at "Luke Bear's"(which they call him at school) school. I, of course, forgot until i dropped him off and saw the signs posted up....

so I quickly called and texted the grandmas hoping that one of them could come by and sure enough grandma mia was able to swing by for a little bit! bear loved it and was surprised by her visit!

Had a nice little family bday for tony. i made a two-layer cake! had dinner at his parents with his grandparents on sunday then today we went on a little dinner date!

and we were happy to help celebrate her birthday!
