the bridal party and friends

a spontaneous game we played while on our scavenger hunt
(pick the ugliest outfit and have sam model them)

we had tons of fun!

first, the bridal party and sam went to glen ivy for some spa treatments

then, they went to do a little wine tasting on Birch Street

then the met up with the rest of us at a japanes fusion restaurant

where we ate, played games and opened sexy presents

then we were off on our scavenger hunt

and we ended the nite with some crepes and coffee!

Russ & Maria are great at hosting UFC parties (and i never get to bloog about it!)...

not only did we get to watch the fight, hang out with good friends, eat good food, but we also got to play in russ's little garage gym...

Isaiah's f i r s t jungle birthday!

Tony's old roomie, Sam, and Heather had a jungle/safari themed first birthday

for Isaiah...

here's the handsome lil blonde-haired, blue-eyed birthday celebrant enjoying his cake...

the outdoor spot was all decked out in jungle/safari gear and so were sam and heather! they even had "All Gods Creatures" there with live animals and a little pony for horse rides- although-the horse was dressed in a zebra costume! too cute

oh ya and bear got a haircut over the weekend again.

i buzzed it with the clippers and he cried the whole time.

but it looks good spikey!

oh and look at the eyes on the car-- bear or peyton did it!

i love that bear covers his eyes with his hands and says he's hiding.

and i love that he can now officially jump with both feet off the ground at the same time.

he's growing sooooo much!

we love him. =)

Cousin Taylor turned 4 today!

Praise God for another beautiful birthday =)

we had bday lunch with tay at red robin

then for dinner we headed to their house for

a small family dinner/party...

tay also shared with everyone that her mama IS preggers again

with baby #3 due late Oct/early Nov!

bear absolutley LOVED sliding around in the snow on his belly and on his tushie. and he loved walking around and adventuring around in the snow.

school and the conga drums

we love our Mommy & Me school.

this week was Dr. Seuss week.

we made Dr. Seuss hats and the kids got to wear the felt hat during share time

Mama has to practice worship songs for bible study... so bear likes to get his conga drum or any drum for that matter and play along! =)

maybe one day bear will be a drummer or a guitar player, a musician, a worship leader....

a professional athlete, a doctor, a pastor, and the list goes on and on!

cant wait to see how the Lord grows this little bear!

tays toddler bed

mama had to work today so bear got to stay with auntie and grandma.

but peyton just woke up from her nap when bear was about to go down for his nap on the couch.

so grandma took him upstairs and he went nite-nites in cousin tay's bed.

he's NEVER slept in a toddler bed!

i think he may be ready for his own!?

drumming bear

i think we have a little bear rocker on our hands!

he likes to sing and play his toy guitar or strum along on my guitar...

last night i was practicing and papa got out bears drum and he started pounding away and almost on my beat as i played!

he even stomped his little foot as if to hit the bass pedal!

papa tried to get a good pix in.... maybe we should've video taped it!

snow day fun

today we decided to head to wrightwood for a little snow play.

i would say that i was a little ill-prepared! i didnt bring a jacket and i didnt have a beanie or snow pants for the bear so bear got soaked in his jeans and had to wear one of mama's beanies! ha!

but nonetheless- it was still fun! bear LOVED it!
