grow grow grow luke-luke!

sooo.. it's been awhile since i've had a chance to update....

Lukey can sit up on his own- into that lil monkey propped up sitting position

and he loves to play his little toy piano that cousin taylor let him borrow.

maybe he'll play piano like his mama!

luke got his 6 month shots early since he had an early visit to the doctor for his eczema

he is now 15lbs 10oz! oh and he wears 6-9 month clothes- he's big!

oh ya he had an early visit cause he started tog et more rashes-- found out it was more due to the allergic reaction to the orange foods!- so for now- it's just rice cereal and green beans and applesauce!

luke has also been on s few morning jogs with his mama
he also likes hangin out on his belly with his papa

my lukey is growing up so fast! praise God!

i just wanted to add some random pictures of luke! Here he is again in his exersaucer @ grandma mia's!

we got luke a new tub that he could comfortably sit in. we filled it up with some water and i think he liked it...
also, luke has been eating rice cereal for over a month now so on Friday I asked grandma to introduce him to sweet potatoe baby food with his rice cereal and guess what?? he LOVES it! i'l add a pix of him chowing down! =P

give me a high 5-months!

Today is my 5 month birthday! Happy Birthday to me!

i loved this soooo much that mama & papa got me another one for grandma's house.

the months are going by fast! mama says i'm soo BIG! my rashes are better, im eating more and more rice cereal along with my mama's milky, i still babble on & on, sometimes i'm on the fussy side, but hey- im just a baby! and who can resist me?! =) yay Jesus for 5 months!

pray for Luke. i had to take him to the doctors at the beginning of this week. what i thought was just a "normal" rash had gotten progressively worse- turns out it's ezcema and it got infected! the doc gave luke some creams and he's also on antibiotics for the infection. praise God- its much much better now! =)
oh and he is now 14 lbs and 3 oz! he's getting so big!

today is also me and tony's 3 year anniversary!!!!!
we took luke to tonys family so they could babysit while we went to dinner at cafe alegro in la verne. 30 minutes later we get a text to come back as soon as dinner is done. luke was SO sad and crying. he missed us! i think he's totally at that stage where he recognizes his mommy and daddy and wants only us! it was so cute (kinda). they tried to feed him some rice cereal and they were able to give him his bath despite all his crying and fussing and as soon i get there- he's happy and he was cooing and smiling and content and was able to finish all his cereal! oh silly luke... be good for grandma, grandpa and auntie!

more 4 months firsts...

Lukes doctor gave the ok to introduce him to rice cereal! hmmm... not too sure if he really liked it or even ate it... most of the time he pushed it out! ha!

We finally got Luke a Bumbo baby-sitter! He seems to like it! He'll sit up for awhile but when he gets tired he leans forward and eats and sucks that middle part of the chair!

I finally got a picture of Luke at his doctors! he was facinated by the wall art. Little did he know that he was about to get poked by needles! =(

He did well after he got his shots. its soooo heartbreaking when he cries!

He is officially longer than 2 rulers- he's 25 1/2 inches long and 13.7 lbs

4months today!

today i turned 4 months! it has been a long, fun day at grandma and grandpa's and i'm ready for bed. i'm probably already fast asleep as mama posts this blog! zzzzzzzzz

it has been waaay too long since my last blog. ive been trying to juggle being back at work, leaving luke with the grandparents, being a wife and mommy, and moving! although it has been super busy and crazy at times I am still enjoying it all! Thank you Lord for keeping me sane... most of the time! hee hee

i'm gettin bigger! i like to sit up, but i cant do it by myself for long yet-- i fall over still!
